OpenAir followed for aviation, with crew, duty limits and currency as modules, and OpenRail followed for rail. The next ones are the same shape. Our engineers spend the first weeks in the operation: at the bench, in the warehouse, on the line. The application is scoped from how the work actually runs, in the words the trade uses for it.
Model the trade
The records the trade runs on are added to the operational model, alongside the people, sites, stock and orders already there. A vintage, an airworthiness directive or a cold-chain excursion becomes a first-class record.
Run it live
The application goes live at one site beside the process you run today, until the two agree. Launchpad takes it on like any other spoke, at whatever autonomy level you set for each capability.
